Description of accommodation

Free standing house built in 2001, comfortably and beautifully decorated in wooden style. Entry, anti-chamber, comfortable living room with sitting area for 4 persons (possible extra bed), TV and radio. In the centre of the room stands a fire stove for heating up the whole object. Open kitchen connected with the living room has an eating corner for 5 persons, electric stove, glass ceramic cooking plate, combined refrigerator with a freezer, cooking pot and microwave oven. Bathroom with a shower and a sink, separate toilet. There is a door in the kitchen which leads to the terrace. There are two bedrooms in the first level of the house. The first one with a double bed and an entry door to the balcony, the second one with three single beds. The house is being heated with the fire stove and additional heating units in the rooms. The garden by the house is partially fenced with hedge and offers garden furniture, grill and fireplace. There is a small water pond in the garden, garage and a parking lot in front of the house.

One small dog after agreement is allowed. The consumption of electricity over 50 kWh per week and the consumption of firewood shall be paid on spot. The house is suitable for a maximum of 5/6 persons.

Location description

In South Bohemia, in a nature reservation region of Sumava (Bohemian Forest), on the edge of a small village Vrbice, about 14 km to the east form the town of Vimperk and only 40 km to the border with Germany. The house stands on a partially fenced garden, in a small holiday village, in a slight slope and about 750 m above the sea level. You will enjoy a beautiful view to the nature of Sumava. A very peaceful place, which is an ideal starting point for various trips in the region, or just walking in the nature or over the surrounding hills, biking trips, bathing and visiting various historical monuments and interesting places – castles, chateaus, ruined castles and others. For example the lookout tower on Javornik 4 km, Chateau Vimperk and the ruined castle of Kasperk 14 km.
Distances: Basic food store and restaurant (Vacov) 1 km, supermarket (Vimperk) 14 km, nature swimming with refreshment (Rohanov) 1 km, swimming pool with tennis (Vimperk) 14 km, indoor swimming pool with sauna (Strakonice) 23 km. The Lipno dam is 60 km to the southeast. Fishing with license in the ponds Biskupsky and Zdikovec 3 and 6 km. Forest 500m.
