Description of accommodation

Cottage after complete reconstruction (in 2023) with swimming pool and outdoor seating. A spacious modern kitchen equipped with a ceramic hob with el. oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, dishes, toaster, kettle, capsule coffee machine (capsules for a fee of CZK 15/piece) and dishwasher. Dining table with chairs and entrance to living room with sofa, coffee table and TV. There are a total of 5 bedrooms in the cottage. Two are located on the ground floor, the other three are located in the attic. In each of them you will find a double bed. In the other two rooms, the space can be expanded with extra beds (fixed pull-out bed). There is a children's playroom on the first floor. Extra comfort will be provided by a total of four bathrooms and five toilets - three bathrooms are equipped with a shower, the fourth on the ground floor with a bathtub and also a bidet. Another separate toilet is available in the hall. Heating in the building by central heating, which is regulated only from the living room. Large fenced garden with covered sitting area, swimming pool (3.66m x 1.22m) and trampoline. 2 types of grills available (gas and briquettes). There is one parking space directly in front of the house, other cars can be parked near the cottage.

Note on accommodation

Dog allowed by arrangement for a fee (only small breed CZK 250/pet/night). Baby travel cot and high chair available on request. Towels on request. The holiday fee is paid on the spot. Wi-Fi connection available. A refundable deposit of CZK 5,000, in addition, the energy consumed is paid on the spot according to the actual consumption. Possibility to buy wine from the wine shop. The object is suitable for a maximum of 14 people + 2 babies.

Location description

In the Giant Mountains, in the heart of the mountain town Svoboda nad Úpou, 3 km east of Janské Lázní, 12 km northwest of Trutnov and 16 km southwest of Žacléra. In front of the cottage, the Skibus stop for the slopes to Skiresort Černá Hora. Ideal both for lovers of winter sports and mountain tourism. You can go on a trip, for example, to Farmapark Muchomůrka 1.5 km, to the summer swimming pool Retropark Sejfy and the entertainment complex Baldův Svět 5 km. If you are looking for easy hiking, visit the 5 km Krkonoše Treetop Trail and take a trip to Černá hora, which you can climb on foot or comfortably with the 4.5 km "Černohorský express" cable car. In winter, the Svoboda nad Úpou Ski Area, which offers quality pistes, night skiing and cross-country trails of 2 km. Safari Park Dvur Králové 31 km and Babiččino údolí 32 km are also worth a visit.

Distances: Basic groceries, restaurant, info center, pub, ATM, post office, gas station and train (in the village) within 500 m. Golf course (Mladé Buky) 4 km. Supermarket and swimming pool (Trutnov) 12 km. Fishing (with a permit) in ponds in the vicinity of 1 – 2 km.
