Description of accommodation

Free standing cottage, standing almost alone, completely renovated in 2015. From the cottage is a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, forests and hills, in front of the cottage you can see grazing lambs. Entrance, corridor, hallway connected with kitchen. Living room with sofa for 6 people, coffee table, radio and satellite TV. For heating and enjoy the winter atmosphere, you can use the furnace. Kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Dining table for 6 people. From the corridor to the left, enter the bedroom with a double sofa that also serves as a children's playroom. From the corridor to the stairs in the attic of the first bedroom with a double bed. Second bedroom with double bed. Third bedroom with 2 single beds. Bathroom with washbasin and bathtub. Separate WC. The cottage belongs to its own unfenced garden. In summer, sitting on the terrace, wooden garden furniture and a portable grill. There is a fireplace, children's sandbox and swings. Linen and towels for guests included in the price, wood in the fireplace in winter included. Possibility to rent 2 bikes directly at the owner of the property for a fee.

In Slovakia, in the protected landscape area Horní Orava, in the neighborhood of the fourth largest mountains in Slovakia, Malá Fatra, about 58 km north of the bigger town of Ružomberok, 8 km southeast of the Polish border, on the edge of the small village of Novot. The local protected landscape with many hills, stunning scenery and the highest point of the Babí hora (1,725 ​​m) is a guarantee of uninterrupted holiday in the countryside. For hiking enthusiasts we recommend hiking trails right around the village of Novot (3 km) or Oravská Lesná (16 km). For families with children, the nearby Oravská Dam (20 km) is ideal for enjoying boating, pedal boating, yachting, surfing and other water sports. At the Orava Dam, there is also a swimming pool in the village of Slanický dvor with a view on the lake. A horse ranch (5 km) is close to Novot. For those interested in technique and culture, we recommend the Orava forest railway Tanečník (16 km), the coffee museum in Krušenice (9 km) or the Orava Castle (32 km).
