Free-standing holiday cottage, in 2010 completely renovated and very well equipped. Spacious house with a total living area of almost 160 m2. Entrance, hallway, living room with sofa for 5 persons, a fireplace, sat-TV and the entrance to a partially covered terrace with a swimming pool. A cozy, modern kitchen with dining teble for 6 persons, electric cooker with ceramic hob and a convection oven, cooker hood, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and microwave oven. From the kitchen there is an access to a bedroom with bunk bed. Nice bathroom with shower and toilet. In the attic there is a small hall and three bedrooms. One bedroom with two double beds (140 cm wide), second bedroom with two beds (120 cm wide). The second bedroom has an access to a third bedroom with one bed (120 cm wide). Separate toilet. Heated by fireplace and possibility of heating by two electric heaters. The garden is fenced, there is partially covered terrace, pergola, garden furniture, outside fire place and covered swimming pool 6 x 3,5 m at disposal. Private parking.

Pets are not allowed. The washing machine, table tennis and after agreement a baby cot and high chair at disposal. The consumption of electricity over 50 kWh per week and during the winter periods also the consumption of firewood shall be paid on the spot. Final cleaning EUR 60,- (compulsory). The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 persons.

In south Bohemia, in a village Ostrovec, about 10 km north of the town Pisek with a nice historic center and the oldest stone bridge in Central Europe. The village Ostrovec lies in the valley of the river Lomnice, in the beautiful south Bohemian countryside with many meadows, fields and forests, only 5 km from the large recreational dam Orlik. The area is ideal for a quiet family holiday, swimming, hiking and biking, fishing and taking many various trips. There are many historical and cultural landmarks in a sourrounding, such as castle Zvíkov 7 km, the historical town and castle Pisek 10 km, castle Orlik 12 km, monastery and town Milevsko 19 km, chateau Blatna 22 km, Březnice 21 km and Lnáře 30 km. The capital city of Prague is distanced about 80 km and is definitely worth to visit.

Swimming, water sports running and boat hiring on the dam Orlik (Zvíkovské Podhradí) 5 km or (St. Anna) 6 km. Indoor swimming pool (hotel Zvíkov) 5 km or (Písek) 10 km. In Pisek you will also find a sauna. The tennis courts about 200 m. Horse riding (Vráž u Písku) 3 km. Golf courte (Kestřany) 20 km. Fishing (permit required) on a river Lomnice 200 m, on the Otava river 4 km or the Orlicka dam 5 km. The forest 400 m.
