    Description of accommodation

    Detached holiday home. The ground floor: there is an entry, hallway, living room (with sofa, TV, dining table and a tile stove) the open kitchen (with a ceramic hob, fridge and the tea kettle) and the bathroom (with shower and toilet). There are two bedrooms in the upper level of the house. One with a double bed and two single beds. Second bedroom with four single beds. Heating is possible by the tile stove with a wooden fuel. Garden is not fenced you can also use a terrace with a covered pergola, the garden furniture with a parasol, garden grill and a fireplace.

    Note on accommodation

    Dog allowed (max. Medium breed). Fee for a dog CZK 1000,- must be paid in advance on bank account. The electricity consumption will be paid on the spot (CZK 8/kWh). The house is suitable for a maximum of 6/8.

    Location description

    In southern Bohemia, absolute privacy (there are only 2 more houses in the vicinity 80 m and 150 m), near the villages Janovka, about 4 km west of the village Nove Hrady and 20 km from the town of Ceske Budejovice. Border checkpoint to Austria in the village Nove Hrady is just 7 km far, another border checkpoint in the village Ceske Velenice is 20 km far. The house stands in the middle of a beautiful landscape with an amazing view of the surroundings, near the forest and between two ponds. Absolutely quiet place with, you will be only disturbed by the singing birds and deer coming to the house to feed. The surroundings are ideal for the beautiful walking, cycling (many bicycle lanes), swimming, fishing and visiting various landmarks – Nove Hrady (4 km) and Zumberk (5 km), chateaus in Trebon (28 km) in Hluboka nad Vltavou (2 chteaus and zoo garden) 28 km and the historic town Cesky Krumlov (urban conservation area) with the castle (40 km).
    Distances: The essential grocery shop, restaurant and supermarket are in the village Nove Hrady (4 km). You will also find many ponds in the surroundings, the nearest are only about 400 m and 500 m far. The pond named Zar which is perfect for swimming and the other water sports is about 3 km far. Another pond Olesnice is app. 4 km far, the former sand quarry is in the village Suchdol nad Luznici (18 km), natural swimming pool is in the village Nove Hrady, another swimming pool is in the village Horni Stropnice (8 km). The closest in-side swimming pool is in the village Gmünd – Austria. The tennis playing and fishing (with a permit) are possible in the village Nove Hrady. The horse back riding is possible in the village Horni Stropnice (11 km). The forest is only 100 m far.
    Winter info: The nearest ski lift with the ski slope Hojna Voda 13 km. Beautiful ski resort Karlstift (www.karlstift.at) in Austria (3 slopes, lifts, artificial snow, rental of ski equipment, cross-country trails) 39 km (via the border crossing New Castles) or 48 km (via the border crossing Czech Velenice), Another ski area Harmanschlag 29 km respectively 40 km.

      Pluses
      Dům je čistý, světlý, hezky vybavený a na krásném místě, prakticky na samotě. Fotky nelžou:) Perfektní místo k odpočinku, nechtělo se nám domů.
      Minuses
      Ocenili bychom možnost koupit si dřevo na oheň. To, co se nám nakonec povedlo najít v okolí, bylo kompletně mokré a nehořelo.

      Krásné místo, na samotě, chata zcela odpovídající popisu, která nabízí klid a pohodu. Jednoduché vybavení, ale plně funkční. Milé chování vlastníka.
