In South Bohemia, in Šumava, near the Lipno dam, in the small and quiet village of Nové Chalupy, part of the Nová Pec municipality, 12 km northwest of Horní Planá, 14 km from the border with Austria and 39 km west of Český Krumlov. The location is perfect for doing various trips, both by bicycle and on foot. Popular tourist locations in the vicinity include, for example, the educational Bear Trail 1.5 km, the Wapiti Mini Zoo 7 km, the Hochficht ski area 26 km, Plešné and Plechý jezero 32 km and the Lipno water reservoir with the possibility of practicing water sports, visiting the trail through the treetops and much more.
