Description of accommodation

A cozy and pleasantly equipped cottage with a large garden with mature trees, a sauna and a stylish cooling pool with backlight. On the ground floor, a living room with a sofa set (folds out into an extra double bed), a dining table, a bar counter and a kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and kettle. Bathroom with shower over bath, sink and washing machine. Separate WC. Access to the attic via stairs with higher treads (not suitable for people with limited mobility). In the attic, a walk-through room with a mattress intended for relaxation (also possible as an extra bed for 1 person). First bedroom with a double bed and a pleasant view of the garden. Second bedroom with narrower double bed (width 140 cm, suitable for 2 children), sofa, swing and play corner. Heating of the building with a heat pump, by arrangement also the possibility of heating in a stove with an exchanger. There is a spacious, completely fenced garden with a sauna with stove heating, a cooling pool with night lighting (sauna in operation all year round), outdoor seating, a fireplace and a swing. Fenced parking for 2 vehicles in front of the cottage.

Note on accommodation

Pets allowed (fee CZK 500/pet/week). Energy consumption included in the price! Bed linen, towels and sheets for the sauna are also included in the price. A refundable deposit of CZK 5,000 is paid in advance to the account and is added to the price of the stay. The maximum capacity of the building is 6 people (of which 2 on extra beds, see description). The accommodation is suitable for a quiet family holiday without organizing parties and celebrations.

Location description

In Podještědí, in the Liberec region, within sight of nearby Liberec, 28 km from the Polish border and approx. 13 km from Jablonec nad Nisou. The cottage is located in the quiet village of Šimonovice, above Liberec, which has a beautiful view directly from the garden. The immediate surroundings of the cottage are very quiet and full of mature trees and nature. The location is rich in monuments. The unique lookout tower on Ještěd (13 km) is undoubtedly worth a visit, as well as the city of Liberec with its water park, zoo, technical museum and Babylon fun park (within 8 km), Kost Castle (35 km), Valdštejn Castle (24 km), Sychrov Castle (17 km), the famous Trosky Castle ruins (34 km) or the Černá Desná waterfalls (35 km).
Distances: Grocery 800 m, restaurant (Dlouhý Most) 3 km, other restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, pastry shops and all amenities (Liberec) within 5 km, water park (Liberec) 8 km , marked cycle path (right next to the building), forest 200 m.
Winter info: A number of ski areas within 40 km (ski area Javorník, Světlý Vrch, pistes under Ještěd and many others). Ski equipment rentals nearby.
