Description of accommodation

Holiday cottage, partially renovated, well and pleasantly furnished. Entry, hallway, living room with sitting and dining area, fireplace and sat-TV. Small kitchen with two hotplates, refrigerator, electric tea kettle, microwave oven and door to a spacious terrace with garden furniture and beautiful view to the whole valley. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs there are found two bedrooms – each with one double bed and one fold-out bed (for one or twoo persons). In each bedroom is one extra bed possible. Electric heating and possibility to heat with wood. The house stands on private ground, around the house spreads a meadow. There is garden furniture, beautiful, nearly luxurious gas garden grill and a newly built fireplace with sitting at disposal. Private parking lot.

Note on accommodation

Pets are not allowed. At disposal is a beautiful sauna with shower, which was built under the terrace with its own entrance from the outside. The consumption of electricity shall be paid on the spot. If heated with wood, the consumption of wood shall be paid - fee EUR 40,-/week. The landlord has his own apartment in a part of the house which is not rented, he can sometimes spend weekends there. House is suitable for a maximum of 6/8 persons.

Location description

In the area between the "Jizera" mountains and Giant Mountains, on the edge of village Desna, ca 10 km west of the famous mountain resorts Harrachov. The house stands on a very quiet place in the slope, near the forest, with a beautiful view of the valley. Along the House leads the local no-through road and about 40 m from the house flows a stream with cascades, in which it is possible to bathe in some places. The stream springs in the mountains, so the water in it very clean, but also quite cold (trout water)! The surroundings are ideal for hiking or cycling (mountain bike), further you will find a wide range of sporting and cultural facilities. In the vicinity there are also several view-towers, from which you can enjoy really wonderful view of the beautiful landscape of the Giant Mountains.
Distances: Basic foods, supermarket and restaurant (Tanvald) 3 km. Restaurant in Albrechtice is distant about 1 km on foot. There is available a newly built sports complex in the village Desna. Tennis court 2 km. Golf course (Harrachov) 10 km. Indoor swimming pool, sauna, water reservoir with beach where you can swim, run water sports and rent boats (Jablonec nad Nisou) 13 km. Aquapark Babylon (Liberec) 25 km. Fishing (with a permit) 40 m. The forest 20 m.
Winter info: The nearest possibility of skiing in the village Desna - two ski-slopes and night-skiing. For advanced skiers is suitable the ski-area in Albrechtice 4 km. Other ski resorts in the vicinity – e. g. Harrachov, Rejdice, Paseky, Spicak, Rokytnice nad Jizerou (renting of equipment, ski schools). In the surroundings leads a lot of prepared cross-country trails, incl. the well-known Jizerska-way.
