Detached timbered cottage after partial reconstruction in 2018, on its own, unfenced plot. Entrance, hall, living room with dining table for 10 people, 2 armchairs, sitting area and LCD TV. Separate kitchen equipped with electric two-burner stove, oven with second two-burner stove, stove with cooking facilities, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and dishwasher. Bedroom with five single beds. In the attic there is a second bedroom with five single beds. Bathroom with two showers and sink. Separate "double" toilets - separate cabins. Heating of the cottage by electric boiler, local stove with heat exchanger + direct heaters. Guests have at their disposal an unfenced garden with seating and a fireplace with grill (barbecue in the cottage). Parking by the cottage for 1 vehicle with higher ground clearance (SUV), otherwise for 3 cars on the road 300 m from the cottage.

In the Krkonoše National Park, near the village of Velká Úpa, 18 km north of Trutnov. The cottage is located in solitude, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and forests, a unique place to rest and relax. If you get up at dawn, you will be rewarded with a truly unique sunrise from the opposite mountain. The whole adjacent area is interwoven with many hiking trails.Only 300 m from the cottage begins a hiking trail (yellow), 8 km long with a hike to Sněžka, the highest mountain in the Czech Republic. With children, you will appreciate the Monkey Park and the bobsled track in Pec pod Sněžkou (5 km), or the Treetop Trail (11 km), from where there are unique views of the national park panorama. If you are looking for historical monuments, visit the ruins of Rechenburg Castle (26 km) and the former military fortifications. Especially children will appreciate a visit to the ZOO Safari Dvůr Králové nad Labem (39 km), where there are specialized exhibits of sub-Saharan and African mammals, birds and other exotic animals. Directly below the cottage is the bus stop "Na Křižovatce", which is a connected to Černá Hora and Sněžka.
