Description of accommodation

Modern equipped mountain cottage. Kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, kitchenware and dishwasher. Living room with dining table, seating group, fireplace and satellite TV. In the attic the first bedroom with a double bed, a bunk bed and one extra bed (without bedding). Second bedroom with double bed, two single beds and the possibility of an extra bed (pull-out mattress without bedding). Third bedroom with two double beds. An LCD TV is available in each bedroom. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Second bathroom with bath, sink, washing machine and toilet. Finnish sauna available. The cottage is heated by an electric boiler and a fireplace (living room). Guests have at their disposal a terrace with garden furniture, a brick fireplace and a barbecue. For children sandpit and swing. Parking all year round directly at the cottage.

Note on accommodation

Pets allowed only by prior arrangement (small breed, for a fee € 6,-/pet/night). Baby cot available. Energy consumption is paid on the spot to the landlord (in winter about CZK 2,500, - / cottage / week). The price includes WiFi connection, bed linen and towels. Ski storage available. Refundable deposit CZK 5,000, -. The cottage is suitable for up to 14 people + baby.

Location description

In the Giant Mountains, in the famous resort of Prkenný Důl near the town of Žacléř, 14 km north of Trutnov. The cottage is located next to the forest and in a very lucrative place right next to the ski slope and sports complex. In summer, the place is suitable for trips through the beautiful landscape of the Giant Mountains or to the nearby protected landscape area Broumovsko, and in winter it is absolutely ideal for a skiing holiday. We definitely recommend a trip to our highest mountain Sněžka, the top of which you can conquer either on one of several hiking trails or by lift. Other attractions in the area include the Rýchorský Forest Nature Reserve (7 km), the pre-war Stachelberg artillery fortress with a lookout tower (3 km), the unique Les Království Dam (37 km) and the Giant Mountains Treetop Trail (20 km).

Winter info: Ski resort Bret with chair lift and children's school (right next to the cottage), larger ski resort Arakis with ski equipment rental (300 m from the cottage), cross-country skiing Krkonoše highway (upper station of the cable car) in the village).
