Description of accommodation

A freestanding mountain cottage, built around 1880, in 2010 beautifully and with a sense of restoration. You will find all the comfort you are in the middle of the mountains. Entrance, hall, spacious lounge with dining table, children corner, sofa with two armchairs, fireplace, TV. Modern open kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. Bathroom with corner bathtub, washing machine and separate toilet. On the first floor there are two double, one triple and one four-bed bedrooms. Bathroom with shower and toilet. In the attic there are also two double bedrooms. Central heating connected to electric boiler and fireplace stove. The cottage is set on its own fenced land, there is a terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, fireplace, sandpit and swing. Own car park for about 5 cars.

Note on accommodation

Dog after agreement with landlord allowed (€ 12,-/night). Cot available for a fee. A washing machine is available. WI-FI connection. Non-smoking house. Power consumption and final cleaning fee (€ 40,-) is paid on the spot. The house is suitable for 15 people. The prices in the price list apply to occupancy of maximum 15 people. For Christmas and New Year's weeks the prices in the price list apply even by a lower occupancy. Special cancellation conditions.

Location description

In the Giant Mountains in the protected nature reserve of the National Park, on the outskirts of the village, with beautiful landscape scenery overlooking hills, mountain meadows and deep forests. The mountain timbered cottage is located in the beautiful surroundings of the eastern Giant Mountains on the outskirts of the village of Horní Maršov about 19 km north of Trutnov. In this location awaits you pleasant holiday in a renovated and stylishly furnished cottage, whose history dates back to 1880. In the immediate vicinity are only 3 other mountain houses, in surrounding are scattered lonely mountain buildings, you will have feeling like the time has stopped here. The house stands on a slope, at an altitude of about 600 m, at the forest, with a beautiful view of the surroundings, hills and meadows. Singing birds and bubbling of a stream that flows down the hillside, mushrooming and active mountain hiking or cycling makes this place a unique location suitable for active holidays. Beautiful countryside is waiting for all lovers of the Giant Mountains Region. You can visit Sněžka (1602 m) the highest mountain, where you can go by a lift from Pec pod Sněžkou (11 km), Safari ZOO in Dvůr Králové nad Labem (39 km), or enjoy the sightseeing flights of Lánov sports airport (23 km).

Winter info: The location of the cotage offers you the opportunity to enjoy the famous ski and recreation centers Pec pod Sněžkou 9 km, Velká and Malá Úpa about 10 km, Jánské lázně 6 km, Mladé buky 7 km , Černý důl 12 km, Žacléř 21 km. To visit these resorts you can use the ski bus, whose stop is just 200 m from the cottage. Directly above the cottage there is a Třešňovka ski lift. There are several cross-country trails for the white traveler.
