Description of accommodation

A detached traditional cottage after thorough renovation offers generous and comfortable base for large group of friends in well equipped interiors with a finnish sauna. Entry through a hallway to the spacious lounge with dining tables, a comfy sofa and armchair seating in front of TV and a tiled stove to warm you up in those cold days. Open plan kitchen fitted with an induction cooktop stove with electric fan oven, another induction cooktop, a microwave oven, 2 kettles, a coffee machine, a toaster, 2 big fridges with freezer compartment, 2 dishwashers and a single tap draft beer dispense kit (all you need is your own beer or lemonade KEG to bring over). Furthermore, there is a bedroom with 2 single beds, an utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as 2 bathrooms, one with a shower cubicle, toilet bowl, bidet shower, urinal and 2 basins, and the other one with a bathtub, shower cubicle, toilet bowl and 2 basins on the same floor.
A total of 5 bedrooms on the first floor. First bedroom with 4 single beds walking-through to the second one with a single bed. The third bedroom with 2 single beds walking-through to the fourth one with 2 singles as well. There is also a playroom for kids, a separate toilet with a basin and a bathroom with a bathtub, toilet bowl and basin on the same floor.
A total of 3 bedrooms on the second floor with a reading corner in the corridor. First bedroom with 3 single beds, second one with 3 singles and third one with 2 singles. Separate toilet with a basin.
All beds in the house are identical so you can freely put a couple of them together to create a double bed. The building has a gas boiler for space and water heating with an option of wood-fired heating in the lounge.
Finnish sauna for 6 individuals at time with a shower and resting room in front of. Outdoor sheltered seating on wood benches with a brick fireplace and portable grill. There is also a smaller seating on house´s terrace. You can use garage to safely store your bikes. Outdoor parking for up to 10 cars.

One pet is allowed for a fee of CZK 2000 per stay. 2 baby cots available. Wi-Fi internet for free. Consumption of electric power up to 50 kWh and gas up to 2 m3 included in price. Firewood for CZK 150 per box. Refundable deposit CZK 10 000. Use of bedding, towels, tea cloths and sauna sheets for a fee of CZK 100 per individual. The cottage sleeps up to 22 adults + 2 babies. The minimum lenghth of stay is 3 nights. One-week stays from Sunday to Sunday!

Location description

In northern Bohemia, in the region of Bohemian Switzerland, in a semi-secluded place in the village of Krásná Lípa, 11 km west of the town of Varnsdorf and 34 km northeast of Děčín city. This remote area of our homeland is suited to all of you who prefer to spend their holiday aside from tourist congested destinations, surrounded by unspoiled nature and serenity. The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village with all civic amenities and just only 500 m far from the neareast woodland from which you can access on foot or on a bike the entire region that is well-known for its deep gorges and sandstone rock formations. Set off to rock formations Jetřichovické stěny (12 km), romantic ruin of the watermill Dolský mlýn (17 km) on the Kamenice river (filming location) or walk along the trail Gabrielina stezka (19 km) down to the famous Pravčická brána, the largest natural stone arch in mainland Europe. We also recommend to visit private Fritsche arboretum that is open for public (4 km), the Indian village Rosehill (23 km) that brings amusement to families with kids or the cave jeskyně Víl (6 km) with remarkable ice formations in winter. You can head to the valley Kyjovské údolí (6 km) on your own or with a geologist and botanist for educational tour (check www.npcs.cz for current dates). For adrenaline lovers, the area offers a bike park in Polevsko (15 km), an adrenalin park in Jedlová (11 km) and climbing routes "Kavárnička" (10 km) and "Uchem jehly" (11 km).
Distances: Basic groceries, restaurant, kids playground, café, sweet shop, post office, cash machine, visitor centre, tenis courts and bike rental (Krásná Lípa) within 1 km, supermarket, outdoor lido and indoor swimming pool 7 km (Rumburk).
Winter info: ski resorts (Horní Podluží) 6 km, (Jedlová) 9 km and (Polevsko) 18 km inland and (Waltersdorf) 22 km in Germany, ridgeline trail for cross-country skiing Lužická highway.
