In the Bohemian Forest, on the outskirts the village Horice na Sumave, about 14 km to the south west of the historic town of Cesky Krumlov and only 6 km from the large and popular lake Lipno. The house is build on a slope, at the edge of the forest, about 630 meters above sea level. The surrounding countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and just about perfect for family holidays and for walks in the woods, fishing, cycling along the beautiful bike paths over the mountains of the Bohemian Forest. The 12 km long cycle path on the lake is just a 10 km away. There is also a Rope park in Lipno 20 km. In addition, the area offers the opportunity to visit various cultural and historical attractions. Castle and romantic town of Cesky Krumlov (UNESCO) 14 km, monastery Zlata Koruna 20 km, Castle Rosenberg 27 km, Monastery Vyssi Brod 32 km, castle Hluboka, hunting lodge Obora with Zoo 40 km, the South Bohemian city of Ceske Budejovice km 36 km.
