Description of accommodation

Freestanding wooden hut, in 2009 newly built, very nice and cozyly furnished. Entrance, hallway, living room with sofa, dining table, fireplace and LCD satellite TV. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker with ceramic hob and hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle and microwave. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Second bathroom with shower and another separate toilet. Four bedrooms - two with double bed, one with two single beds and one with a double bed and an extra bed. Heated by electric and fireplace. Unfenced garden, an outdoor roofed sitting area with fireplace and a childrens playground. Enough parking space right by the house.

In the northwest of Slovakia, in a quiet mountain area, on the outskirts of the cottage settlement Zágrapa, near the village Oščadnica, about 10 km east of the town Čadca, in the triangle just about 10 km from the border with the Czech Republic and Poland. The house stands near the forest on a hill, at an altitude of 650 m above sea level, in a beautiful protected area Kysucke Beskydy with highest mountain Velka Raca (1236 meters high). There are many hiking and biking trails, sports facilities, as well as many various cultural and historical landmarks. Summer center of adrenaline and fun "Sun Paradise" Oščadnica – Velká Rača (lift, bobsled, rope park and childrens rope park, trampolines, off-road scooters and four-wheelers, bike riding) is just 4 km. Open-air museum Nova Bystrica 27 km Kysucke museum 12 km, the forest railway narrow track Nova Bystrica - Vychylovka 27 km, the Old clock Bystrica 20 km.

Winter info: Beautiful and well-known winter sports resort "Snow Paradise" Oščadnica – Velka Raca with three ski resorts (Dedovka, Marguška and Laliky) is just 4 km (2 chair lifts - four-and six- seat, eight-seat cable car, 3 lifts, 13 ski slopes in a total of 14 km lenght, 10 km of udjusted cross country trails, artificial snow, night skiing, ski service, ski school, ski buses every half hour).
