Description of accommodation

The two-storey, comfortably furnished house after complete reconstruction, surrounded by a large garden, is ideally suited for three friendly families who will find everything for fun and relaxation here.
Enty into the hallway, on the left hand side there is a pass-through living room with a pair of sofa beds (sleep 2+1 people) and a TV to the first bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. On the right hand side there is a kitchen with a dining table for 7 people, equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher. In the hallway there is the first bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.
Upstairs there is a children's play corner in the hallway, from which you enter the separate second bedroom with a double bed and also the third pass-through bedroom with a double bed and two single beds to the fourth bedroom with a double bed. On the opposite side of the hallway, there is the entry to the second kitchen with a dining table for 8 people, equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Pass-through living room with sofa bed (sleeps 2 people), babycot and TV to the fifth bedroom with a double bed. Another entry from the hallway leads to a separate living unit, which consists of a sixth bedroom with a double bed, a second bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin and a third kitchen with a sofa bed (extra bed for 1 person) and an unit equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. In the hallway there is the third bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Heating of the building provided by a heat pump.
On the ground floor, there is a summer kitchen with beer-tap equipment, table football and darts as well as a bicycle/ski storage room, both accessible from the garden. Separate toilet. In the large garden with fruit trees, guests can relax on wooden benches under a pergola, on logs around firepit or in a hammock whereas children may appreciate a sandbox, slide and swings. Parking space for up to 7 cars.

Pets on request. Wi-Fi connection and 2 babycots available. Deposit is not required. Electricity consumption included in the price. Bedding, towels and tea towels provided by the landlord. Possibility to rent two mountain bikes. The capacity of the property is 16 people + 5 people on extra beds.

Location description

In northern Moravia, in the foothills of the Rychlebské and Jeseníky mountains, in the village of Vápenná, 12 km north-west of the town of Jeseník. A superbly situated place that invites you to spend an active holiday with a large number of attractions in the immediate vicinity.
Whether on hikes through surrounding forests or exploring the area from the saddle of a bike, stop at one of the many flooded quarries, such as Hutung (5 km), Rampa (8 km) or Pelnář (14 km). We also recommend going to the Nýznerovské waterfalls on the Stříbrný stream and the Bučínské waterfalls on the stream of the same name (7 km). Views of the Jeseníky and Rychlebské mountains as well as large lakes in the flatland on the Polish side of the border can be enjoyed from the stone-built lookout tower on the top of Zlatý chlum (17 km) and from the pilgrimage site on Boží Hora, where the path lined with Stations of the Cross from the village of Žulová (5 km) will take you.
Adrenaline experiences can be started with bouldering, a climbing style performed without a rope on small rock blocks, which are found in high concentration in the vicinity of Vápenná. For lovers of downhill biking, there is a groomed network of single trails called the Rychlebské stezky nearby.
Make sure not to miss a visit to the Na Pomezí (5 km) or Na Špičáku (22 km) caves, the Tančírna in Račí údolí (18 km), the Jánský vrch castle (18 km) or the Gothic water fortress in Jeseník (14 km). To strengthen your physical as well as mental health, head for spa treatments of the healer V. Priessnitz in the mountain nature of the Jeseník spa (13 km) or the Schroth spa in Dolní Lipová (8 km).

Distances: Kids´ playground, basic groceries, pub, post office 1 km (in the village), restaurant, café and visitor centre 4 km (Žulová), ATM and wellness 8 km (Lipová-lázně), natural swimming 5/8 km (flooded quarry Hutung/Rampa), supermarket and swimming pool 11 km (Jeseník), forest 800 m.

Winter info: Ski resorts Lázeňský vrch (8.5 km) and Miroslav (10.5 km) in Lipová-lázně, Ramzová (16 km) with four slopes, chairlift and surface lift, Ostružná (17.5 km) and Petříkov (19 km), a network of groomed cross-country skiing trails in the vicinity.
