Description of accommodation

In 2019 newly renovated cottage on its own unfenced land, furnished in Scandinavian style. Entry, central living room connected with kitchenette. Kitchenette with induction cooker, microwave, mini electric oven, coffee maker (Dolce Gusto), kettle, kichenware and dishwasher. Refrigerator with freezer in hallway. In the living room dining table for 4 persons, radio, seating group (extensible to extra bed for 2 persons), coffee table and fireplace. First bedroom with a double bed. Second and third bedrooms each with one single bed. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In the attic accessible by stairs under the parent supervision playroom for children. Heating of the cottage by electric heaters and local stove. In the garden guests have at their disposal seating area, a portable grill and a sandpit for children. Parking by the cottage for 2 cars.

Note on accommodation

Dog allowed (for a fee, only a small breed). Consumption of electricity 50 kWh included, surplus consumption is paid on the spot before departure. Refundable deposit CZK 2 000, -. Bed linen included. The cottage is suitable for a maximum of 4 persons + 2 persons in an extra bed.

Location description

In eastern Bohemia, on the outskirts of Trhová Kamenice, about 9 km west of Hlinsko. The cottage stands at the end of a small, quiet cottage settlement. Great location by the forest, with plenty of privacy and views of the surrounding countryside. The area is very good for hiking, cycling, entertainment and exploring. Historically interesting places are undoubtedly chateaus Žumberk (16 km), Slatiňany (19 km), Heřmanův Městec (30 km) and Žleby (33 km). If you have children, you can discover Peklo Čertovina (13 km), which is interesting not only for kids but for adults as well. Less than 6 km from the cottage there is a historical museum - a set of buildings Veselý Kopec, or Celtic oppidum České Lhotice (12 km). For swimming we recommend to go to the quarry Srní in Hlinsko (entrance fee), or to the famous Seč dam (18 km) with the possibility of water sports and accessible beaches. Directly behind the cottage (300 m) is a lookout Zuberský kopec.

Winter info: Well-known winter sports complex Hlinsko offering 2 ski slopes and 3 ski lifts, ski school, rental and snowboard area for enthusiasts (10 km).
