    For the upcoming summer season only, here we have an one-off opportunity for you to taste what it's like to live in a Canadian log cabin! Being on the market for sale, this semi-secluded log cabin adjacent to woodlands and within driving distance of Prague as well as the popular Slapy reservoir, will not be available for long. Spacious, modernly furnished and equipped with cutting-edge technologies it offers everything you can think of.
    Entrance, bright and airy common area with seating on leather sofas by a widescreen LCD TV, dining area and open-plan kitchen with a bar equipped with a hob, fan oven, kettle, capsule coffee machine and fridge with freezer compartment. First bedroom with a double bed on the gallery accessible by a ladder (not suitable for people with reduced mobility). Second bedroom with bunk beds and a table for children. Third bedroom with a double bed, desk, bookcase and private entrance to the terrace. Bathroom with shower, basin, toilet and bidet shower. The fourth bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe has its own private bathroom with a bathtub, shower, basin and separate toilet. Electric underfloor heating in the building. The water from the property's own well is highly mineralised and therefore unsuitable for drinking (potable water is provided from a barrel dispenser).
    Entrance through a door or French window to a sheltered terrace with seating on wooden garden furniture, a gas grill and optional shading with a retractable awning and roller blind. A parasol, adjustable deck chairs and Fatboy bean bags are available in the fenced grassy garden. There is also a new outdoor jacuzzi to dip in with a view of the adjacent forest! Secure parking for up to 4 cars at the property behind a remote controlled gate.

    Note on accommodation

    Pets are allowed for a fee of 1000 CZK/stay and on the condition that they are not allowed in the bedrooms. Baby cot on request. Wi-Fi connection available. Refundable deposit of 2000 CZK (for stays without a dog) or 6000 CZK (for stays with a dog) will be returned to the clients' account within 3 working days after the end of the stay. Consumption of electricity, drinking water, gas and firewood included in the price. Bed linen, towels and bath towels provided by the landlord. Final cleaning fee of 1500 CZK. Minimum stay of 3 nights. Contactless check-in/-out.

    Location description

    In Central Bohemia, on the edge of the peaceful village of Senešnice, 8 km from exit 21 of the D4 motorway and 20 km south of Prague-Zbraslav.
    The log cabin is adjacent to a forest, through which a blue-marked trail leads to the rocky valley of the gold-bearing Kocába river, where we recommend you to head for a trip to pure unspoiled nature and a still lively tramp atmosphere. A similarly beautiful hike can be taken along the "Svatojánské proudy" nature trail through the valley above Štěchovice reservoir with beautiful views and the legendary tramp settlement Ztracenka along the way.
    For water fun, head to the Slapy reservoir, where you can rent canoes, pedal boats or motorboats in the Skalice campsite marina (15 km) and explore the area from the water surface. A great local attraction for all ages is TEPfaktor in Chotilsko (12 km) - the Czech version of Boyard Fortress that is played in teams of 2-5 people, will test your physique, logic, skill and patience. For freeride enthusiasts, there is a moderately difficult trail in the bike park near the village of Slapy (15 km).
    Historical monument lovers will not be left out either, in Mníšek p. Brdy there is a chateau open to the public (9 km) as well as the baroque pilgrimage site Skalka (10 km). The gold-mining past of the area is mapped out by the gold museum in Nový Knín (8 km), where it is worth making a trip for the evening screening of films in the natural amphitheater of the summer cinema.
