Description of accommodation

Beautiful historic log house with indoor sauna, after extensive reconstruction in 2023. Living room with sofa set (extra double bed), dining table, fireplace, TV and kitchen unit with ceramic hob, microwave oven, hot air fryer, kettle, coffee machine capsule and dishwasher. Fridge with freezer in the corridor. Bathroom with shower and sink. Separate WC. In the attic, a spacious bedroom with two double beds, two single beds (length 180 cm), armchairs and TV. Wellness room with sitting area, shower and sauna. Second separate toilet with washing machine. Heating of the building with fireplaces and electric heating. Garden fireplace available. Parking at the property for up to 3 vehicles.

Note on accommodation

Pets are not allowed. Baby cot only by prior arrangement. Refundable deposit CZK 4,000. Cleaning fee 1,500 CZK. Electricity consumption up to 50 kWh is included in the price of the stay, excess consumption is paid for (higher costs must be taken into account if the electric heating is switched on, especially in winter). From October to April, the fee for wood consumption is CZK 400/day. In the winter months, the road up to the cottage may be more difficult to pass - suitable for 4x4 vehicles, or the possibility of parking 200 m below the cottage. The accommodation is more suitable for a quiet holiday. The total capacity is 8 people. Weekly stays take place from Friday to Friday.

Location description

In the Jizera Mountains, in an important tourist area, 14 km from Jablonec nad Nisou, 3 km from Tanvald and practically within reach of the Polish border. The characteristic log house is located above the village of Desná, far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city and at the same time close to all the necessary facilities. The place is suitable for hiking and cycling, especially for skiing in winter. The Jizera Mountains are a well-known recreational and sports destination. In summer, they are a popular place for hiking and cycling trips. In the winter, a system of cross-country tracks, called the Jizerská magistrála, awaits you. Visitors can visit many excursion destinations and attractions in the nearby area - a water park and a dam with a beach in Jablonec nad Nisou (14 km), the ruins of the Zbiroh castle (27 km), the city of Liberec with a zoo (26 km), the Jára Cimrman museum (7 km ), a number of bunkers and fortifications from the Second World War or the Štěpánka lookout (9 km). Jablonec nad Nisou is known for its glassmaking tradition. Here you will find a glass museum and a jewelry museum. Don't miss the legendary Tanvald – Kořenov – Harrachov cog, an experience especially for children and technical enthusiasts.
