Description of accommodation

A cozy and stylishly furnished wellness log cabin with a hot tub and a Finnish sauna situated in a secluded spot by the forest provides a unique refuge from the everyday hustle and bustle for all lovers of peace, nature and authentic experiences.
Entrance, bright central room with dining table, sofa bed (extra bed for 2 people), wood-burning stove, which not only completes the pleasant atmosphere, but also ensures sufficient thermal comfort and a kitchenette equipped with a sink, single-burner gas stove, kettle, 35 l refrigerator and basic dishes. An open sleeping floor with a king-size double bed (2x2 m) and a single bed is accessible via a ladder. Separate bathroom with shower, basin and composting toilet.
A large terrace with seating on deck chairs invites you to enjoy your morning coffee, an evening barbecue or to relax with a glass of wine under the stars. There is also a hanging swing egg, a pair of sun loungers and a grill. Direct access from the terrace to the hot tub, which is useful for regeneration after trips, as well as a real Finnish sauna, which is located under the terrace. Access to the log cabin via a gravel road, plenty of parking spaces on the property.
Please note that heating of the tub can take roughly 6-8 hours in winter, while the sauna is ready in 1-2 hours (the exact time depends on the ambient temperature). As standard, guests heat the wellness themselves, which brings a unique feeling of connection with nature. Optionally, however, everything can be ready for your arrival; this service is additionally charged at CZK 2000, payable on site, and it is, of course, necessary to contact the landlord well in advance.

Note on accommodation

Pets allowed free of charge. Wi-Fi connection available. Refundable deposit CZK 2000. The property is not connected to utility networks and is self-sufficient in its own production of electricity from PV panels - 12V electricity distribution, which is meant to charge phones and other small electronics via USB ports. A tank with 1 m³ of utility water is available, which is treated so that it does not spoil. It is necessary to provide your own drinking water (1 package of bottled water ready for your arrival). We ask guests to be mindful of water and, especially in winter, electricity as well. Consumption of firewood included in the price. Bedding, towels and bath towels provided by the landlord.

Location description

In Western Bohemia, in a secluded spot behind the village of Hoštičky, 9 km east of the town center of Klatovy and 45 km south of Pilsen. A great starting point for your trips to the monuments in the immediate vicinity or to the nature in the Šumava mountains, 20 km away. Close to the nearby village of Kydliny (3 km), you will find the Stations of the Cross with a chapel and 14 stops, built in 2019 by a local blacksmith in cooperation with the Klatovy sculptor P. Fiala. Set aside a whole day to visit Klatovy (9 km) with historically valuable monuments concentrated around the central "Náměstí Míru" and the city gardens with a colonnade, a treetop path and a lake with a boat rental. We also recommend a trip to Velhartice Castle (21 km) with an open-air museum of folk architecture in the foothills, as well as to the area of ​​the castle ruins and chateau in Klenová (19 km). Another interesting place is the monumental torso of the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk (12.5 km), which is freely accessible.
