The village of Javorná is located about 14 km northeast of the town of Železná Ruda (Bayerische Eisenstein), about 25 km south of the town of Klatovy and only 18 km from the state border with Germany. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling - the possibility of various trips to the natural beauty of Šumava, for example to lakes Černé and Čertovo (20 km). Rope park Železná Ruda (14 km), castles Čachrov (7 km), Velhartice (15 km), Rábí (34 km), Švihov (37 km) and Kašperk (38 km) and Klenová ruins (16 km).
