Description of accommodation

Freestanding, spacious villa (living area of 300 m2) with four floors, in the 2008 renovated, very good and tastefully furnished. Ground floor: nice common room / eating room with dining tables for 20 persons, bar and satellite TV. Hall with a sofa, toilet. Very spacious kitchen with electric cooker with ceramic hotplate and digestor, refrigerator with freezer, dish-washer, coffee maker, kettle and microwave owen. On the first floor there are found four bedrooms – for 3, 4, 2 and 2 persons. Each bedroom hat its own small hall, bathroom with shower and toilet and satellite TV. On the second floor there are other three bedrooms – for 2, 3 and 2 persons, again each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and toilet and satellite TV. In the attic there is more a cosy apartment with 6 beds, sitting area and bathroom with bath and toilet. Central heating. The villa stands on the own non-fenced ground. Wooden garden furniture for 10 persons (table and benches) and garden grill at disposal. Parking lot for maximum of 5 cars.

Note on accommodation

One dog allowed. Washing machine, internet connection, bedlinen and towels at disposal. The consumption of electricity and in winter heating EUR 60,- / week shall be paid on the spot. The house is suitable for a maximum of 10/20 persons. By the occupation with 11-20 persons you have the whole house with 8 bedrooms at your disposal and you will pay the price in the price list. By the occupation with maximum of 10 persons you will pay the lower price, but you have only 4 bedrooms at disposal. The lower prices for occupation with max. of 10 persons are: July/August EUR 648,-/week, two last weeks in June EUR 538,-/week and other weeks outside these periodes EUR 498,-/week. Winter: Christmas EUR 865,-/week, January and March EUR 830,-/week, February EUR 1.070,-/week and other weeks outside these periodes (except New Year's Eve) EUR 800,-/week. We ask you by booking to put a notice in the booking form, that you want to apply the reduced price (for max. of 10 persons, only 4 bedrooms). In the ski resort Janske Lazne - Cerna hora you can find the company ETC Sports (www.etc-sport.cz). One of the co-owners belongs to our landlords. The company offers a wide range of services for both summer and winter holidays – as a client of our agency you can receive for all services a 10% discount (after presentation of the voucher).

Location description

In the Giant Mountains, on the edge of the mountain town Svoboda nad Upou, ca. 11 km north of the town Trutnov and 3 km east of Janske Lazne. The villa stands on a slope with a beautiful view of the valley with the town Svoboda nad Upou, of the opposite forested slope, of the top „Cerna Hora“ (Montenegro) and of the other mountain peaks in the vicinity. A very attractive location, which has both in summer and in winter a lot to offer. In the surroundings there are many hiking trails leading over the ranges of Giant Mountains. Some interesting trip destinations: romantic forest castle „Aichelburg“, the top „Cerna Hora“ (1299 m) with cableway 3 km, cableway to the highest peak of the Giant Mountains and the Czech Republic too „Snezka“ (1603 m) 12 km, chateau Jilemnice 25 km, castle Pecka 33 km.
Distances: Basic foods 600 m, some restaurants 600 m – 1 km, supermarket (Trutnov) 11 km. Aquapark with sauna, steam bath and whirpool, further tennis court and minigolf (Janske Lazne) 3 km. Another tennis court 1 km. Aquapark also (Trutnov) 11 km. Recreational pond with a water-slide, where you can bath and run water sports, further boats rental and tennis court (Dolce) 16 km. Golf course (Mlade Buky) 2 km, horseback riding 1 km, bicycle rental 600 m. Fishing in the ponds (permit required) 1 – 2 km. Sport airport with the possibility of sightseeing flights and parachute descents (Lanov) 14 km. Forest 50 m.
Winter info: Directly in the town Svoboda nad Upou within 1 km there are found 3 ski slopes with artificial snow and well-kept trails for cross-country-skiing. Ski centre Mlade Buky 2 km, other ski resorts Janske Lazne 3 km and Pec pod Snezkou 12 km. Skibus stops only 500 m from the house.
