Information related to the spread of Covid-19
With effect from 3 December 2020, short-term rental of real estate is permitted in compliance with other relevant government regulations.
In southern Bohemia, in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest („Sumava“), on the edge of the small village Mutenice, ca. 2 km south of the town Strakonice. The house stands on the village green, at the dam of a pond, view into the garden and of the pond. This area offers excellent conditions for sports and cultural activities, ideal for hikers, bikers and fishermen. In the surroundings there are found many interesting places and sightseeings - such as the historic town and castle Strakonice 2 km (in the town Strakonice is also each summer held the well-kown bag-piper festival), ruins of castles Prachen 20 km, Helfenburk 23 km and Rabi 22 km, historic town and castle Pisek 23 km, chateau Blatna 23 km and Vimperk 31 km.
Distances: Basic foods, supermarket and about 8 restaurants (Strakonice) 2 km. Outdoor and indoor swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts and minigolf (Strakonice) 2 km. Swimming and water sports running in the river Otava 2 km. Horse riding (Hajska) 5 km. Golf course (Kestrany) 12 km. Fishing (with a permit) in the ponds in surroundings or in the river Otava. In agreement with the landlord and for a fee you can fish also in the pond in the garden. There is a nice playground for children in the village. The forest 1,5 km.
Winter info: The surroundings are suitable for cross-country skiing. Big and well-know ski resorts Kasperske Hory, Kvilda, Zadov, Kubova Hut and Hartmanice within of 40 – 50 km. Possibility for skating on the ponds in the surroundings.
Free-standing house (of the type of „2 under 1 roof“), in 2009 renovated, good and cozy furnished. In the interior is used a lot of wood. Entrance, hall with a staircase. On the first floor there is a hallway, living room with sitting area, sat-TV and an open access to the dining room with dining tables for 7 persons and balcony. Kitchen with electric cooker with hood, refrigerator and electric tea kettle. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. In the attic there is a corridor, the second bathroom with tub and toilet and three bedrooms - two with two single beds and the third with one double bed and one single bed. Central heating - solid fuels (for heating cares the landlord, fire-room is located in the basement). Nice-kept garden with a small pond ist not separated from garden of the neighboring house with a fence. Garden furniture and a portable grill at disposal. Parking near the house on the partially fenced ground.
Pets are not allowed. The consumption of electricity shall be paid full on the spot to the landlord. In the summer season (May, June, September, October) shall be paid on spot EUR 8,-/week for heating. In the winter season shall be paid on spot EUR 40,-/week for heating. The house is suitable for a maximum of 7 persons.
