Description of accommodation

Freestanding cottage, in 2010 newly built. Entrance, hall, living room with sitting area, imitation of fireplace (electric fireplace), TV with satellite and stereo set. A small kitchen with two ceramic hotplates, refrigerator, kettle and microwave owen. Bathroom with shower, wash-basin and toilet. From the living room lead sheer ladder stairs to the attic. Here is a spacious room with four mattresses on the ground (the mattresses all side-by-side). Electric heating. Garten is fenced, covered terrace with wooden garden furniture and garden fireplace at disposal. Fire place. Parking possibility in the garden by the cottage.

Location description

On the outskirts of the tourist popular town Hluboka nad Vltavou, ca. 5 km north of the metropolis of South Bohemia Ceske Budejovice. Behind the garden there is a small pond, you have partly view on it. Quiet location in the back of the garden, in which stands the house of the landlord too – his house is optically separated with a fence. Around the cottage is planted a high hedge, which provide you enough privacy. The town Hluboka nad Vltavou ist known as a tourist and cultural centre. Beautiful chateau and various cultural and sport facilities are by foot accessible. Well-kept manor park ist only 100 m distant, via the park you can reach the chateau, manor gardens and the „Ales“ galery. Hunting lodge Ohrada and the Zoo 2 km. Directly behind the Zoo there is found a nice riding hall with the possibility of out-door horseback riding. A bit further on foot you can get to a large recreational pond Bezdrev, in which you can bath. The centre of town Hluboka nad Vltavou is only 200 m from your cottage. But also the surroundings have certainly much to offer – beautiful natur and many trip destinations, such as town Ceske Budejovice 5 km, chateau Kratochvile 22 km, historic town Cesky Krumlov (in on the list of World Culture Heritage of UNESCO) with romantic alleyways, many restaurants and terraces – often above the river Vltava, which flows through the town, with beautiful chateau and a unique open-air theatre 35 km, monastery Zlata Koruna 25 km, spa town Trebon with a chateau 30 km and more.
Distances: Basic foods 200 m, supermarket 500 m, at least 15 restaurants from 300 to 800 m. Within from 800 m to 1 km there is nice outdoor swimming pool with water-slide, tennis courts and halls, sportground, playground, cable-center, golf course with 18 holes, relaxation centre with the possibilities of massages, whirpool, sauna, solarium and hairdresser, possibility of sightseeing steamboat cruises, bowling, marked cycle-paths and fishing (permit required). Recreational pond Bezdrev (one of the largest ponds in the South Bohemia) is only 3 km distant and offers good conditions for swimming, running water sports, rental of pedal-boats, grass-beach and yachting. Backhorse riding (Vondrov) 2 km. Forest 400 m.
